OUR INSPIRATION
ANSAR was founded by Abeera Ansari, a Pakistani-Muslim woman inspired by slow fashion, classic elegance, and the idea that modesty should be simple, thoughtful, and enduring. Though modesty was often described to her as only covering the hair, Abeera learned that it is, in fact, a deeper expression of values and intention. With this vision, Abeera created ANSAR to offer timeless, elegant pieces that blend slow fashion principles, effortless style, and ethical practices, empowering women to embrace modesty with grace and authenticity.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
ANSAR began in 2022, in Abeera’s basement, where a simple idea took shape — to create modest pieces she had long searched for but never found. Every step was hands-on: legal work, branding, packaging, shipping, and slowly building the brand, one piece at a time. Each order carried her care, each detail reflected her vision, and every stitch was a promise to bring thoughtful, timeless modest fashion to life. After years of research and trial and error, ANSAR finally launched in 2025, emerging as a brand that embodies intention, elegance, and the art of dressing with purpose.
